Thank you for being a part of our event with Union Gospel Mission! 

 

We are teaming up with Community Revitalization Collective and Union Gospel Mission for an event called Rock the Block!

September 16th-21st volunteers will be doing projects with Habitat for Humanity. We will be working with homeowners in the Whittier Neighborhood with a variety of different projects from yard clean up, deck building, painting, tree trimming, and other small projects. 

September 21st there will be a large party at Meldrum Park to celebrate all the work the week before! 

 

 

Shift times: AM Shift  9am-12pm 

                     PM Shift  1pm - 4pm 

 

Lunch from 12pm -1pm 

          Food will be provided 

 

Staff Onsite:

            Marcus - Neighborhood Revitalization Coordinator 

 

What to Bring:

  • Work Gloves -if you have them
  • Wear clothing you can work in & get dirty.
  • Wear layers as weather is ever changing.
  • Closed toe shoes are required
    • Please do not wear sandals, Keens, or Crocs
  • Please bring your own water & snacks.
